Fast Food: It May be Fast, But It Isn’t Food!

This video segment is featured on the home page of FigureFoodie.com. BUT, if you haven’t watched it yet, you should; your jaw will drop.

On this segment from diet.com, compare the appearance of a 3-month old slice of potato and some 4-year old McDonald’s french fries. The potato is wrinkled, dry, and pathetic looking while the french fries still appear as if they could have been served up half an hour ago.

Originally served in a Happy Meal, the four year old hamburger has no visible signs of rot or mold. No preservatives have been added; it has been wrapped in its original paper and stored in a lunch box. Yet, it still looks much like it did four years ago.

The speaker’s point is that real food rots, molds, and breaks down. This can’t be real food!

If this doesn’t scare you away from Fast Food, nothing will.
