19 Days Until Competition

Until the kids get home, my day will consist of eating and sleeping. I am pretty sure my legs have turned to jelly and no longer contain muscle and bone. My trainer put my workout partner and I through a grueling hour of legs, legs, and more legs, immediately followed by more legs and cardio.

Saturday our team members each met individually with Roc. Despite our moanings and worry, he insists that we are right on track and will be ready.

We each got changes to our diet and cardio programs. My portion sizes have dwindled and I will get by on one less meal and more changes may come later. Surprisingly I am not hungry at all though. My cardio frequency and intensity also increased so I should really start seeing some dramatic changes. In fact, I can see a difference already.

No progress pictures today. I forgot to turn my alarm clock on last night, so I ended up hitting the ground at an all-out run this morning to get the kids to school and arrive at the gym in time to warm up a bit.

One thing I know for certain: you don’t ever want to be late for a training session. Roc makes you catch-up and do extra and without a warm up it really hurts!

I am drowsy with fatigue but need to hit the shower now. If I had stood under a shower for a minute or two I think I’d be drier. Ewww.
